The Long Beach Playhouse may be one of the most under-rated cultural venues in Long Beach. Most recently, I was entertained by a mature and memorable Neil Simon play, I Ought to be in Pictures … and at $22 per ticket, it’s tough to beat the value. Parking is kind of limited, so I suggest getting there a little early to avoid having to look for a parking spot on the street.
