Some fifty or sixty different occupations were represented in the Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services 5th Annual Career Day, and I was invited to represent the residential real estate industry. 150-200 young men and women walked past my table, where I was able to reach out, shake their hand, and tell them how a real estate agent can improve the quality of life for the people they meet. These young people receive so many messages that imply they have no future. I was proud to tell them on May 17 that they do.
